Check out Rising rapper Young Chrii on his best music

Growing up, he says, he was great at composing songs for friends in studios but later on, with the help of his friend and Producer called Dizzi, he discovered he could sing and rap. He is currently doing rap because people enjoyed his rap music way better than other genres.

commonly known by his stage name, Young Chrii is among many young talents rising in the Rwandan music industry today. He launched his music career in February 2021. The rapper has announced that he is releasing his first EP in July.

The eight-song EP produced by Dizzi Beatz will feature different fast-rising artistes such as Zeo Trap, Madaggy and Jummpy boys among others.

Like any other career, starting is not easy but time to time I see improvements and that gives me hope for a better future, one step at a time. My vision is to work hard and make only good music that Rwandans will like and for my talent to boost.

Chris is a high school student at Lycee de Kicukiro Apade doing multimedia in level four. Asked how he balances school with music, Mucyo says he does each activity at its respective time and makes sure to give it enough time.

Young Chrii told The New Times that this EP will express her feelings in the art of melodies and sounds.

In the future I hope to shine and for my music to make it to the top playlists because I have so much in store for music lovers which I believe they will enjoy”, he says.
